Nuvolt Corporation Announces the Launching of a Promotional Program for SmartScan With Optimum Assurance Agricole
(firmenpresse) - LEVIS, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 01/18/12 -- The president and CEO of Nuvolt Corporation Inc. ("Nuvolt") (TSX VENTURE: NCO), Mr. Jacques Dion, is pleased to announce the launching of a promotional agreement for the SmartScan with Optimum Assurance Agricole. This agreement is designated as the "Optimum /Agrivolt program for the SmartScan".
According to Mr. Mario Dumas, principal vice-president, operation: "Optimum Assurance Agricole and Nuvolt have entered into an agreement to promote SmartScan given the features of this technology as a preventive maintenance system against electrical failures in livestock farms. Electrical failures originating from production equipment and the electrical network are the major causes of fire in livestock farms". Optimum will offer an annual damage insurance premium rebate to the farm owners who purchase a SmartScan system.
This agreement is further to the signing of a collaboration agreement with Optimum already announced in 2010 and should have a significant impact on SmartScan's sales in Quebec but also outside the province, given that this agreement is a major endorsement of our SmartScan technology as a preventive maintenance system in livestock farms. Furthermore, the Optimum/Agrivolt program for SmartScan will create the synergy required to keep SmartScan technical advance for the future.
