BritWeek UKTI Business Innovation Awards 2012 Now Underway
Nominations Due by March 16th, Awards Dinner on April 25th
(firmenpresse) - LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/17/12 -- BritWeek announced today that its third annual Business Innovation Awards competition, run in partnership with United Kingdom Trade and Investment (UKTI), will be open for nominations until March 16th. Companies based anywhere in California or the United Kingdom may apply, provided they have operations in both places.
There are five prestigious awards recognizing business innovations in the categories of Design; Technology; Service Provision; Philanthropy; and Marketing and Communications. The last two awards are new additions this year. Applicants are required to submit essays of no more than 1,000 words each, explaining how their companies have improved products, experiences or services in one of the five categories. The applications will be judged by a panel of distinguished experts, including creativity guru Sir Ken Robinson, Jaguar Design Director Ian Callum, and Walt Disney International Chairman Andy Bird. The winners will be announced at an Awards Dinner at the Four Seasons Los Angeles in Beverly Hills on Wednesday, April 25th.
