Lysander Funds Limited Announces Proposed Changes to Lysander Canadian Bond Fund
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 01/13/12 -- Lysander Funds Limited ("Lysander") today announced that it proposes to change the investment objectives of Lysander Canadian Bond Fund. If the change in investment objectives is approved by unitholders and implemented by Lysander, the Fund's investment strategies will also change, and the Fund's name will change to Lysander Bond Fund.
The proposed amendment to the fund's investments objectives is to provide the Fund with additional flexibility to invest in Canadian dollar denominated fixed income securities of U.S. and other foreign issuers.
Lysander will seek unitholder approval for the proposed investment objective change at a special meeting of unitholders to be held on or about February 3, 2012. If unitholder approval is obtained, Lysander proposes to change the investment objective of the Fund effective on or about February 3, 2012. Subject to the change in investment objectives, the changes to the Fund's investment strategies and name will be effective on or about February 3, 2012.
