Sullivan & BGS Enter Into SBA Mentor-Protege Agreement
(firmenpresse) - SAN DIEGO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/12/12 -- . (Sullivan) announced today the approval of a formal Small Business Administration (SBA) Mentor-Protégé (MP) agreement with (BGS). This renewable one year agreement focuses on providing BGS with technical, administrative and management assistance to enhance BGS's capabilities and assist them in obtaining the goals set forth in their business plan. The agreement was officially approved by the Tennessee District Office of the Small Business Administration on December 29, 2011.
Sullivan's CEO, , recently stated, "We are honored to have been selected by BGS and approved by the SBA as BGS's Mentor and we will make every effort to make this Mentor Protégé relationship extremely successful. The SBA's Mentor-Protégé program enhances the capability of 8(a) participants to compete more successfully for federal government contracts. The program encourages private-sector relationships and expands SBA's efforts to identify and respond to the developmental needs of 8(a) clients. This mentoring program is offered under SBA's 8(a) Business Development program serving disadvantaged firms.
