Hollywood Producer Jon Peters Sued for Breach of Contract by California K-9 Academy, a Renowned Dog Training Facility in Burbank

The lawsuit was filed on in the by attorneys , , and . on behalf of the California K-9 Academy. Counts include Breach of Written Contract, Breach of Implied in Fact Contract, Breach of Quasi Contract, Breach of Covenant of Good Faith and Fair Dealing, Common Count of Reasonable Value and Fraud.
According to the filed Complaint, at one point in time Jon Peters had three of his canine companions dwelling at the K9 Academy; one was picked up and two remained for over one hundred days. an Akita, received Phase III Adult Socialization Training but after the expiration of the contract he failed to pay $50/day. On March 3, 2010, Bear Peters was removed from the K9 Academy by an agent for Jon Peters. , a Doberman Pinscher who was purchased for his minor daughter, remained at the facility for a total of 385 days incurring a boarding cost of $50/day.
On or about June 1, 2011, The Academy sent a letter to the defendant regarding Beau Peters, which stated: "After repeated attempts to contact you, we have no choice but to declare your dog, Beau, a male Doberman as abandoned." Jon Peters gave permission to sell the dog to a new owner. The lawsuit claims over $25,000.00 in damages.
