Experienced Executives Join Switchable Solutions as Market Momentum for Green Solvent Technology Builds

(Switchable Solutions) announced today that Dr. Eric Kelusky and Mary Frazer C.A. have joined the Company's executive team to support accelerating technology commercialization plans. Eric Kelusky has stepped into the role of Chief Technology Officer with Mary Frazer assuming the role of VP Finance and Administration. Switchable Solutions' groundbreaking "Green" solvent technology has proven to be an efficient, effective and environmentally friendly means of extracting bitumen from oil sands and recycling plastic waste.

During 2012, Switchable Solutions plans to complete its oil sands bitumen extraction pre-pilot project and start up its plastics recycling demonstration plant. Design, engineering and construction of the bitumen extraction process will be undertaken in Ontario, with operation and testing to be completed in Alberta. The Company's plastic recycling demonstration plant will be located in Mississauga, Ontario at the site of Fielding Chemical Technologies, one of the Company's founding industrial partners.
Dr. Kelusky reflected on his appointment saying, "I see the enormous value in this technology. In her role as VP Finance and Administration Mary Frazer will be responsible for accounting and control systems, as well as human resource administration and supply chain management. Executive Biographies
Dr. Eric Kelusky earned his PHD in Chemistry for his work at the University of Ottawa and the National Research Council. Kelusky started his business career with DuPont Canada as a research scientist and went on to executive leadership roles with NOVA Chemicals where he led the development of hugely successful new catalysts and polymer processes as Vice President of Technology. His development work also included chemical innovations for the oil sands and energy sectors. Dr. Kelusky has also led growth initiatives as a line leader of business units and worked as part of corporate leadership teams engaged in major international mergers and acquisitions.
Mary Frazer, C.A. graduated from the University of Toronto in Commerce and then earned her Chartered Accountant designation with Pannell Kerr MacGillivray. Frazer's went on to a role as Vice President, Finance for a custom steel fabricator in Ontario. Most recently she has been Chief Financial Officer for NexCycle, Inc., a leader in waste recovery services, playing a key role with the senior executive team during the strategic repositioning of the business. She is experienced in the areas of corporate finance as well as mergers and acquisitions.
