Mark Benz Joins CRC Health Group as Regional Vice President, Eastern Recovery Division

Benz joins CRC with over 35 years of healthcare management experience.

Benz began his career at a not-for-profit community behavioral health and addictive disease treatment center in Phoenix, Ariz. He then served as Director of Behavioral Health Services at a 60-bed inpatient behavioral health facility and crisis center. Benz went on to spend six years with Charter Medical where he was President and CEO of several hospitals. More recently, Benz served as Behavioral Health Division Senior Vice President for a well-known Fortune 500 hospital management company that operates over 100 acute care, behavioral health, and ambulatory facilities. Prior to joining CRC, Benz was the Division Chief Executive Officer for one of the leading operators of general acute care hospitals.
Benz earned both his Bachelor of Social Work, Organizational Development and Master of Social Work Administration, Healthcare Administration from Arizona State University. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Academy of Certified Social Workers.
