Fleet Industry Vet Ted Davis Joins ARI to Head Call Center Operations

LAUREL, NJ -- (Marketwire) -- 01/06/12 -- ARI®, a leading global fleet services provider specializing in complex car and truck fleets announced that Ted Davis has joined the organization as its U.S. Call Center Department Head. Davis has more than 12 years of industry experience and brings proven leadership to ARI's largest department. The addition of Davis, along with the opening of ARI's sixth North American Call Center in Houston, Texas, demonstrates ARI's continued commitment to supporting our clients' drivers and client service excellence.

In his new role as Call Center Department Head, Davis will be responsible for directing operations and managing more than 300 ASE technicians at ARI's three U.S. Call Centers in Maple Shade, New Jersey; Grapevine, Texas; and Houston, Texas. The primary role of these centers is to field calls in support of ARI's customers' fleet vehicles. These 24x7 Call Centers manage repairs, breakdowns, accident response, preventative maintenance and other driver needs.
Prior to joining ARI, Davis served as Vice President of Fleet Management and Logistics at Garda Cash Logistics, Inc, a large multi-national armored cash transit organization. Previously, he held various management positions during a 12-year career at Ryder Systems, a full service lease provider.
Davis earned his B.S. in Business Administration from Kennedy Western University and served in the United States Marine Corps for six years.
