Asian Operator Offers Personalization With Evolving Systems' Dynamic SIM Allocation Solution

Evolving Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: EVOL), a leading provider of software solutions and services to the wireless, wireline and cable markets, today announced that an Asian wireless operator has selected the Company's (DSA) solution.
The operator selected DSA as part of a strategy to promote new and innovative services to a very competitive pre-paid market. Using DSA, new subscribers will be able to choose their own phone number via their handset during the activation -- the first time this has been offered. In addition, they will be able to select their preferred language and tariff plans through the on-screen menu options. In the future, it is expected that promotions will be offered to subscribers based on location and type of device used.
For the operator, DSA will create a new revenue stream by enabling them to charge for special or golden numbers, with the value being collected via the normal reload process.
The SIM card distribution channel will also be streamlined through the introduction of a generic SIM card suitable for use across any region, therefore improving availability for new activations.
