Oehlschlager focuses on environmental and land use litigation and compliance counseling under both federal and state environmental statutes. She has significant experience representing clients in all aspects of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) project review process, including preparation, review, and analysis of negative declarations, draft environmental impact reports (DEIRs), comment letters, and responses to comments/final environmental impact reports (FEIRs), as well as prosecuting and defending CEQA litigation.
Oehlschlager also represents clients in complex environmental litigation matters involving the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA); the Federal Clean Water Act; the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (California's Proposition 65); and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). Oehlschlager also provides advice to clients with respect to brownfields redevelopment and compliance with a wide variety of environmental laws and regulations, including those dealing with solid and hazardous waste, water quality, endangered species, and wetlands.
Oehlschlager is a graduate of the University of California, Hastings College of the Law (J.D., 2003) and the University of California, Los Angeles (B.A., 1999).
