KSW, Inc. Awarded Projects Totaling 21.5 Million Dollars
(firmenpresse) - LONG ISLAND CITY, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 12/23/11 -- KSW, Inc. (NASDAQ: KSW) today announced that it has recently been awarded two new contracts totaling approximately 21.5 million dollars. The first project is a new central heating plant at Kingsborough Community College. The second is a new luxury condominium in Manhattan. This new residential project will be the third project from the same developer. With these new projects, the Company's backlog at the end of the year is anticipated to be approximately 86.5 million dollars.
Chairman of the Board Floyd Warkol, commented that: "We are very pleased to enter the New Year with such a significant backlog. We continue to see an increase in construction activity in the New York City area, and expect that our value engineering will have a significant role in obtaining new projects."
