Platinum Studios Is Home to the $175 Million Box Office Grossing "Cowboys & Aliens"

(OTCBB: PDOS), an entertainment company that controls an international library of more than 5,000 comic book characters which it adapts, produces and licenses for all forms of media, is proud to announce today that it has retained Stock Signal Investor Relations and Consulting Group to direct a fully-integrated investor relations program and assist the company with strategic planning. The investor relations firm will work with Platinum Studios to develop a program focused on shareholder communications and awareness within the buy-side and sell-side investment communities.

Mr. Beall also notes that while other large comics-based libraries are already spoken for, Platinum Studios remains independent of major entertainment studio affiliation. Marvel was recently acquired by Disney for $4 billion, and is the second major comic library to be acquired by a Hollywood studio. DC Comics, which is owned by Warner Bros., recently announced a newly-revamped business model, focusing on reaching deeper into DC's catalog of characters.
Awareness for Platinum Studios' properties has increased significantly due in part to the tentpole film "Cowboys & Aliens," based on the New York Times Best Selling graphic novel, which Rosenberg produced alongside Steven Spielberg, Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Alex Kurtzman, and Roberto Orci. So far, the film's box office grosses are approximately $175 million for DreamWorks, Universal Pictures and Paramount International.
Other Platinum Studios projects currently being developed from its 5,000 character library include "Unique" at Disney (with "Harry Potter" producer David Heyman); "Vice" (with producer Andrew Lazar and Top Cow Productions (Wanted)); "Blood Nation" (with producer Alexandra Milchan); and "Nightfall" (with William Stuart, executive producer of "The Rock").
Platinum is also developing "MetaDocs" for television (with American Idol producer FremantleMedia and Landscape Entertainment) and also working on "Gray Legion" with Robert W. Cort (producer of "Three Men and a Baby," "Runaway Bride," "Mr. Holland's Opus").
