TVA Group Sells its Interests in the Specialty Channels Mystery TV and The Cave to Shaw Media
(firmenpresse) - MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 12/22/11 -- The TVA Group (TSX: TVA.B) has announced an agreement through which the TVA Group will sell its 50% interest in the "Mystery TV" specialty channel and its 51% interest in "The Cave" specialty channel to Shaw Media.
A licence transfer request - which is subject to approval from the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) - was submitted earlier last week. Pending CRTC approval, the proposed transaction could be finalized in the spring of 2012.
