Farmers Insurance Appoints Scott Stice and Joe Richardson to Senior Executive Posts Effective January 2012
(firmenpresse) - LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/22/11 -- Farmers Insurance, a leading personal lines insurer with an industry-leading exclusive agency distribution system, has named two insurance veterans, Scott Stice and Joe Richardson, to newly-created senior officer positions.
Stice, a 21-year veteran of the company, will help direct the insurer's aggressive growth plans as head of field execution, while Richardson, who comes to Farmers Insurance from Allstate, will help oversee the company's spreading of the Farmers brand into new markets as head of expansion markets.

Prior to becoming an employee of Farmers, Stice spent 10 years in the field, first as a Farmers agent, then as a district manager. In 2000, Stice became a Farmers employee and has served as state executive director of Illinois; vice president of agencies; vice president of distribution strategies; senior vice president of field operations; and, most recently, as head of Eastern Market Operation.
Richardson comes to Farmers after having spent the last 33 years with the Allstate Insurance Company, most recently as senior vice president of distribution, marketing and customer experience. Among his responsibilities in that role, Richardson led the company's exclusive agency, independent agency and direct distribution systems. Previously, he was a vice president overseeing the eastern market operating committee for the company, where he was responsible for seven regional operating committees and where he also served as the CEO of Allstate New Jersey and Allstate Floridian.
