Christopher C. Peters Joins Cornerstone Environmental Group
(firmenpresse) - MIDDLETOWN, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 12/20/11 -- Cornerstone Environmental Group, LLC announced that Christopher C. Peters has joined the firm, and will serve as client manager in the Bolingbrook, Illinois office, focusing on client relations and business development. He will use his considerable expertise in cost control, operations management, and regulatory compliance to help Cornerstone's clients with landfill field operations, environmental compliance and reporting, permitting and construction management, and community and regulatory relations.
Mr. Peters is an accomplished manager with 24 years of business and operations management experience in the solid waste industry. He comes to Cornerstone from Veolia Environmental Services, where he served in a number of senior management positions, most recently as general manager of the Orchard Hills Landfill, in Davis Junction, Illinois. Mr. Peters had overall responsibility for the $35 million division, and managed all aspects of permitting, operations, safety, compliance, maintenance and administration.
Prior to that, Mr. Peters served as regional manager for Onyx Waste Services, West Chicago, Illinois, where he was responsible for oversight of operations and financial performance of 22 operating locations across four states. He has a BS in Civil Engineering and is an IEPA Certified Landfill Operator and an IEPA Certified Wastewater Treatment Operator.
