Bringing over 22 years of hotel sales experience to her new leadership role at this , and the District's largest convention hotel, Ms. Moothart began her career with Marriott International in 1989 as a group sales coordinator at the Residence Inn in midtown Atlanta, GA. Since then, she has held several senior management positions in group sales and convention services at the Portland Marriott Waterfront, Tampa Airport Marriott, Denver Marriott City Center and the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort and Spa before moving into her current role as Director of Sales at one of the most prestigious .
In addition to years of experience, Ms. Moothart holds a BSBA at Berry College and has earned a CASE designation with the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA). In addition, she has received a CMP designation, recognizing those who have achieved the highest standard of professionalism in the meetings and conventions industry.
