Margaret Trudeau, New Spokesperson for the Art for Healing Foundation
(firmenpresse) - MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 12/20/11 -- Margaret Trudeau and the Art for Healing Foundation have combined forces in order to spread the message that art has an important purpose, especially when used to inspire and offer hope in the hospital environment.
Earl Pinchuk and Gary Blair created the Art for Healing Foundation in 2002 when visiting a terminally ill friend at the hospital. After experiencing how dismal the environment was for patients and staff, they decided to take action. The Foundation has since installed 6000 works of art in both hospitals and wellness facilities, mostly in Montreal and more recently, Ontario, British Columbia and Newfoundland.
Margaret Trudeau, an avid believer in the power of art to promote healing, speaks passionately about the Art for Healing Foundation's cause in a newly released video.
