Cale Group Strengthens U.S. Presence With Acquisition, Announces New Subsidiary and President of Cale America
(firmenpresse) - TAMPA, FLORIDA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/19/11 -- To strengthen its presence and advance its North American growth strategy, Cale Group today announced that it has agreed to acquire certain assets of Cale Parking Systems USA, its local distributor in the U.S. In doing so, Cale Group creates a new subsidiary, Cale America, which will provide parking terminal services to customers across the U.S. Headquartered in Sweden, the Cale Group is one of the leading parking equipment suppliers in the world with over 50,000 installations in 30 countries.

At the same time, Cale Group announced the appointment of a new President for Cale America, Edward Olender. Previously acting as President within Cale Systems Inc. Canada, Mr. Olender will take on the full mandate and responsibility as President for Cale America. "Edward has been with Cale for many years," continued Henrik Mella. "He has a broad knowledge of the industry and of Cale products."

The agreement to acquire certain assets of CALE Parking USA is subject to certain contractual and other conditions.
