Lohfeld Consulting Group Begins APMP Accreditation Program Refresh
(firmenpresse) - WASHINGTON, DC -- (Marketwire) -- 12/19/11 -- The ) 2011/2012 accreditation program refresh efforts are underway. APMP must refresh its accreditation program every 5 years to remain relevant in the marketplace, adjust for industry changes, and address new technologies and best practices affecting proposal professionals. The first step in this process is to perform an Industry Study during 1st quarter 2012 to validate the existing competency set and develop new competencies if applicable. The Industry Study will frame the refresh of APMP's accreditation program.
In October 2011, APMP invited industry and academia to submit proposals to conduct the Industry Study. An independent APMP Accreditation RFP Committee comprising proposal professionals convened specifically for this project reviewed submitted proposals. The RFP Committee selected , a current APMP Approved Training Organization (ATO), to lead the refresh program based on its compliant and responsive proposal.
