If it's blowing a gale outside, you can hibernate in your own Highland estate, relaxing on a beautiful in front of a roaring fire while enjoying a wee dram of whisky.
Look for tweed inspired fabrics, leather furniture, dark wood and heather tones.

A real hide rug on beautiful, stripped floor boards would be ideal, but if that's taking the theme too far for you, go for something like the Brighton rug in purple from Barker and Stonehouse. It comes in 100 per cent wool pile and guarantees a cosy feel on windswept nights.
