ID: 1066699

(firmenpresse) - GLOUCESTER, MA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/15/11 -- Monadnock Research has published a compilation of the firm's 2011 consulting and advisory services rate research.

The report includes analysis of consulting rates from a series of seven comprehensive 2011 studies on negotiated client rates from organizations in healthcare, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, financial services, retail, energy, metals & mining, high tech, communications, electronics, transportation and public services.

The analysis presented in the 2011 Consulting and Advisory Services Rates report (Monadnock Research Vol IV, No 42) analyzes rates across 15 client organizations, including rates from 93 firms and a total of 157 rate structures. Rates were aggregated, analyzed and presented across most consulting practice areas, including:

Strategy Consulting

Operations Consulting

Human Resources (HR) Consulting

IT Consulting

Financial, Transaction and Risk Advisory Services

"We thank the many client organizations that made this series of consulting rate research possible," said Mark O'Connor, Monadnock Research CEO and Cofounder. "We believe that the analysis presented in this compilation of 2011 global rates research is the most comprehensive ever published on this topic."

Rates are presented within each category in the context most relevant to the practice area. In strategy, rates are presented as both hourly and weekly rates, since many strategy specialists use weekly rate structures exclusively.

Each practice area contains a "Rates by Category of Professional" section providing detail on rates for each of the Monadnock Research professional categories (15 in most cases) for which strategy consulting rates were analyzed. Descriptive statistics are provided within each of the sections, including the mean, median, mode, standard deviation, sample variance, kurtosis, range, minimum, maximum, and the number of rate structures analyzed for each category of professional. All labor categories contain a detailed percentile analysis of rates.

The practice area sections for strategy and operations consulting also contain a break-out of rates by the primary specialty of the firm providing services. The operations consulting section provides a break-out of rates for firms that are category specialists, as well as firms that are best known for their work in strategy, IT consulting and HR services. There is also a chapter on the financial, transaction and risk advisory services of Big Four firms, including rates by category of professional for 12 consulting and advisory practice areas.

The section on consulting labor categories provides details on skills, experience and education requirements for each of the 15 Monadnock Research consulting professional classifications.

Rate schedules from the 93 firms in the scope of this research effort include those from: Accenture, ACS, AON Hewitt, Arthur D. Little (ADL), A.T. Kearney, Bain & Co., Booz&Co, Booz Allen Hamilton, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Capgemini, Celerant, Cognizant, Computer Sciences Corp. (CSC), Deloitte, Ernst & Young (E&Y), Hay Group, Hewlett-Packard, Huron, IBM, Infosys, KPMG, McKinsey & Company, Mercer, North Highland, L.E.K., Oliver Wyman, Oracle Consulting, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), PA Consulting, PRTM, Roland Berger, Plus Delta, Point B, SAIC, SAP Consulting, Towers-Watson, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), and Wipro.
