Potomac College Receives Affirmation of Accreditation From the Middle States Commission on Higher Education
(firmenpresse) - WASHINGTON, DC -- (Marketwire) -- 12/15/11 -- Potomac College's regional accrediting agency, the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), recently reaffirmed the College's accreditation.
"As a result of a monitoring report Potomac College submitted to the commission and a site visit by a team representing the commission, the Middle States Commission on Higher Education recently voted to remove the warning and to reaffirm accreditation of Potomac College," said Cathi Raffaeli, President of Potomac College.
The Middle States Commission on Higher Education ruled that Potomac College is now in compliance with all the Commission's standards for accreditation. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2013-2014.
"We are pleased to receive this affirmation that Potomac College is healthy and in good standing with our accreditor," said Provost Richard Resch. "Our students are our top priority and this vote of confidence allows us to continue to provide educational opportunities that meet the unique career enhancement needs of our multicultural adult learners."

Potomac College currently offers specializations in accounting, cyber security, general management, government contract management, health systems management, and information systems management.
Potomac College was founded in 1991 and offers programs leading to Associate of Science and the Bachelor of Science degrees in the fields of business and technology. The college has two campuses in Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia, as well as online programs.
The Washington, D.C. campus of Potomac College is located at 4000 Chesapeake Street N.W. in Washington D.C. The Northern Virginia campus of Potomac College is located at 1029 Herndon Parkway in Herndon, Virginia.
