Coveted Jewish Day School Announces Reputable Tax Law and Financial Services Attorney Will Oversee the School's Endowment and Operational Funds, Investments, and Assets

(firmenpresse) - PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL -- (Marketwire) -- 12/09/11 -- The Arthur I. Meyer Jewish Academy (AIMJA) of the greater Palm Beaches is proud to announce the new Chairman of the Investment Committee for 2012 and beyond, Peter Blatt, J.D., LL.M of Blatt Financial Group, Inc.

"This is a big honor for me" said Blatt, during a recent call to discuss the nomination and the plans for the Investment Committee going forward. "This institution is steeped in tradition, and offers children an invaluable education and programming that just can't be found anywhere else. That's very dear to me."

The Investment Committee is responsible for reviewing and managing their endowment fund and assets while making recommendations for changes that will best serve the interest of the school's investment objectives.

Under the leadership of Blatt, the Investment Committee will meet four times a year to review and discuss the positions of the school's investments, make recommendations for adjustments and shifts when appropriate, submit those recommendations to the Executive Committee, and finally to the full Board of Directors for approval.

Peter Blatt is the President and Founder of Blatt Financial Group, a financial and tax planning firm in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Blatt began his career after graduating with honors from University of Miami School of Law, earning his Master of Law Degree in Taxation, also from UM's School of Law and then working at one of the oldest West Palm Beach-based law firms.

Blatt has been widely published in many law, taxation, estate planning, and general financial services journals all over the nation, and is the former editor at the Florida Bar Journal. He also sat on the Board of Directors for both the Jewish Community Center of the Greater Palm Beaches and the Arthur I. Meyer Jewish Academy of Palm Beach County.

Founded in 1973 and located in the heart of West Palm Beach, AIMJA has grown to a beautiful 7.5 acre campus, serving more than 360 students during the 2009-2010 academic year. Students have the opportunity to complete both state-mandated general curriculum, and Hebrew and Judaic Studies, daily.
