He served as an Investigator, Analyst, Compliance Officer and finally Director of Investigations with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in his over 6 years there. Upon leaving the FDA, he joined Genentech as Deputy Head and then led its GMP Compliance group, which is responsible for conducting both . Additionally, he was Deputy Head for its Corporate Inspection Management team overseeing inspection readiness metrics, inspection preparation and developing responses. Dr. Tucker has also provided Inspection Training for the European Compliance Academy in Europe helping attendees understand FDA inspections.
