(firmenpresse) - WACO, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 12/05/11 -- It was August 20, 2011 and what would soon become Hurricane Irene was quickly forming in the U.S. Virgin Islands. As advisories began to go out throughout the eastern seaboard, those in the northeast wondered how the first hurricane of the season would fare as it made landfall. Fast-forward to September 9, 2011 and along with the damage caused by Tropical Storm Lee, Hildy Morgan and Erica Rogler -- Executive and Assistant Directors at Dietrich Theater, respectively -- are knee deep in water at their beloved Dietrich Theater in Wyoming County, PA.

The Dietrich Theater has become somewhat of an iconic location in northeastern Pennsylvania, hosting over 100 cultural events, including semi-annual film festivals, live theater, concerts and workshops. On September 9th though, along with many other businesses in the community, The Dietrich Theater was transferred into just another area in the northeast ravaged by what amounted to be the most disastrous hurricane since Katrina, and one of the most devastating in decades.

With their annual Fall Film Festival quickly approaching on September 16th, Hildy, Erica and the team were at a loss as to how they would manage to have the theater -- a community staple -- ready to go in a week's time.

Meanwhile, less than a mile away in Tunkhannock, PA, crews from ® were deployed at Herron Lumber, Wyoming County Beverage and Welch Insurance Agency helping to get these businesses back up and running. Deciding to take a walk around town, Jodi Bunnell -- Director of Business Development at Rainbow International -- stumbled on a local theater prepping for what she could only tell was one of their major events of the year.

Upon entering the theater, Jodi saw several volunteers hard at work, but the reality of the situation was that the work had just begun. Hildy mentioned that they had tried reaching several companies in the area, all of which were unable to help on such short notice given the devastation across the region. With Rainbow International crews already in the area, both parties became ecstatic realizing that restoration professionals were on the way.

Over the course of the following seven days, Rainbow International professionals were not only able to disinfect, dry and prepare Dietrich Theater for its annual Fall Film Festival -- using its industry-leading processes, procedures and technologies for -- but were also able to help open two other theaters and the concession area within two weeks' time.

Erica Rogler said of the contribution: " was very professional and easy to work with. Without their flexibility and eagerness to help, we would not have been able to achieve our goals. They were absolutely an integral part in helping us bring our annual Fall Film Festival to the community."
