The certification provides a baseline of quality for IE Discovery's Discovery Management Process, which includes planning, collection, process, review and production.
The implementation of a quality management system that meets the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 standard includes development and implementation of a quality policy with a commitment from management to continuous improvement. Elements of this policy include records control, internal audit, control of non-conforming products and systems for proactive and reactive improvement. ISO 9001:2008 also requires metrics to track the effectiveness of the quality system and a standardized method to measure the process to ensure a quality product. The company passed a rigorous internal and external audit to prove the quality management system is in place and meets the requirements of the ISO standard.
