UEnd:Poverty Invites Everyone to "Gift Different" at a Local Café This Holiday Season
(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/02/11 -- Calgary non-profit, UEnd:Poverty will be setting up shop in Calgary cafes this holiday season, making it ridiculously easy for people to gift different and help end global extreme global poverty at the same time.
From December 1st - December 23rd UEnd:Poverty Pop Up Gift Shops will be at partner cafes, helping patrons give the gift of giving. Gift card recipients can then donate to over 50 poverty-ending projects around the world via the UEnd.org website.
"We wanted to make it super easy for people to give a meaningful, lasting gift this holiday season, rather than the usual bland stuff each of us gravitate to at some point," says UEnd Founder Jay Baydala. "So, we're inviting people in from the snow to warm up, grab a coffee, learn about UEnd and our partner projects around the world, and then send a loved one a gift card."
Gift cards can be purchased online right at our gift shop, and scheduled to send on Christmas Day. Or, patrons can take one of our $5 or $20 gift cards with them to go! Our friendly volunteers will be wearing UEnd t-shirts and sporting hard-to-miss Santa hats.
