Farmers & 21st Century Insurance Donate 500 Lbs. of Food to the St. Mary's Food Bank in Phoenix
(firmenpresse) - PHOENIX, AZ -- (Marketwire) -- 12/01/11 -- Farmers Insurance Group of Companies® and 21st Century Insurance in Phoenix held a food drive and employees rounded up canned goods and other pantry staples during the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving as a way to help out.
"What a great way to help our community with such a basic need. We know that with the holidays upon us now, many families have limited resources for those extra holiday meals," said Kristen Comer, Farmers HelpPoint® Communication Manager. "Our employees always come through whenever we ask them to assist."
Donations went to the St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance with locations in Phoenix, Surprise and Flagstaff.
