(firmenpresse) - ATHENS, GREECE -- (Marketwire) -- 11/30/11 -- Tsakos Energy Navigation Limited ("TEN" or the "Company") (NYSE: TNP) announced today that the Company will host an Investor and Analyst Day on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 1:00 pm ET in New York City to discuss the Company's recent developments and prospects, as well as the tanker shipping market outlook.
The event, which is for investors and analysts, will feature a presentation by the Company's President and Chief Executive Officer, Nikolas P. Tsakos, followed by a question and answer session. Pre-registration is required to attend the event.

To date, TEN's pro forma fleet consists of 50 double-hull vessels of 5.4 million dwt that includes two DP2 suezmax shuttle tankers currently under construction totaling 314,000 dwt.
