This family of 4 models measure over a range from 0.1 milligram to 31 kilograms and are well suited for the management of masses in ASTM classes 2 through 7 and in OIML class F1 or below. In addition to use as mass comparators, the MC Series serve as precision balances and excel in applications where minute weight changes have to be measured in the presence of heavy tare weights. Precision balances are needed for accurate mass determination, weight calibration and quality control.
The MC Series also solves one of the problems which occur when manually performing high-precision weighing. To reduce corner load errors, A&D provides an option called the auto-centering pan, which automatically brings a mass, when loaded away from the center of the balance, to the center, thus reducing eccentricity errors. Further performance improvements are found in the MC Series, which are equipped with a stabilizing filter function to lessen errors due to drafts or vibrations. All models offer simplified balance operation with the internal calibration feature.
