Saputo Announces Appointments in Senior Management
(firmenpresse) - MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 11/29/11 -- Saputo Inc. (TSX: SAP) announces appointments in its senior management, effective April 1, 2012. Mr. Dino Dello Sbarba will be appointed President & Chief Operating Officer, Saputo Inc. In his new role, he will continue to report to Lino A. Saputo, Jr., who will remain Chief Executive Officer & Vice Chairman of the Board.
Mr. Dello Sbarba has been with the Company since 1990 and has served as President & Chief Operating Officer, Cheese Division (Canada); President & Chief Operating Officer, Cheese Division (USA) and, since 2006, has been acting as President and Chief Operating Officer, Dairy Products Division (Canada) and by interim (Europe & Argentina).
Mr. Lorenzo Spinelli will be named President and Chief Operating Officer, Dairy Products Division (Canada). Mr. Spinelli joined the Company in 1998. He has served as Vice President, Engineering & Environmental Affairs (Canada & USA); Senior Vice President Operations (Canada) and, since 2009, has been acting as Senior Vice President & General Director, Dairy Products Divisions (Europe & Argentina). In his new role, Mr. Spinelli will be reporting to Mr. Dino Dello Sbarba.
The Company also welcomes Mr. Kai Bockmann in the position of President & Chief Operating Officer, Dairy Products Division (International); formerly known as the Dairy Products Divisions (Europe & Argentina). Mr. Bockmann holds over 15 years of international experience within the food industry. He has held several senior management positions in production, sales and marketing and has worked in Canada, the USA, China, India, as well as in Latin America. Mr. Bockmann will be reporting to Mr. Dino Dello Sbarba.
Mr. Terry Brockman, President & Chief Operating Officer, Dairy Products Division (USA) and Mr. Lionel Ettedgui, President & Chief Operating Officer, Bakery Division will both report to Mr. Dino Dello Sbarba.
Mrs. Gaetane Wagner, Executive Vice President, Human Resources and Mr. Louis-Philippe Carriere, Executive Vice-President, Finance and Administration will continue to report to Mr. Lino A. Saputo, Jr.
All nominations will be effective April 1, 2012, with the exception of Mr. Kai Bockmann who will be joining the Company as of January 9, 2012.
