(OTCBB: LMCO) (FRANKFURT: LL9L) , winner of the 2010 X Prize using 21st Century Design & Engineering of emission-free, all electric high speed long range automotive propulsion systems using the latest lithium-ion battery technology, formally announces and expresses to the public and our shareholders that we are now ready to move into the next phase of our business and we will be focusing our attention towards manufacturing, branding and sales in 2012.
In October 2010 we proved to the world our technology is competitive at a world class level by winning the X Prize, giving us confidence that both our cars and technology belong on the market.
We also understand that, for us to be recognized in the international market, we need to restructure ourselves for growth and seek financial support either in equity, buy in or joint venture to optimize our ability to move forward.
Over the last several months we have evaluated geographic territories and have concluded that for us to optimize fast and long term results, we need to look at breaking into the Asian market; completely understanding how lucrative the auto industry is in China, as it is marked as being one of the strongest sustainable sectors for many years to come.
With these objectives Li-ions Motors is pleased to announce today that in order to establish ourselves in Asia we have signed a two year financial advisory contract with Peak Resource Capital Partners. Peak Resource Capital is a full service financial Advisory boutique that focuses primarily on Mergers and Acquisition and strategic alliances in Asia, specifically in China/Hong Kong. Their prime function will be to help us get structured and financially secure in China/Hong Kong.
