Online print shop presents football derby on 26 December in the Westfalenhalle

"Until now, we have been represented with perimeter advertising as sponsor to the Bundesliga clubs. With the Onlineprinters-CUP we have gone one step further and given our name to a top-class indoor football tournament where spectators can watch first-rate footballers playing live", Walter Meyer, CEO of Onlineprinters GmbH announces the event on 26 December in the Dortmund Westfalenhalle. The traditional teams of Borussia Dortmund, Schalke 04, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Wattenscheid 09, VfL Bochum and MSV Duisburg will play the exciting derbies there. "All participating teams will be fighting passionately for the title. Because the winner of the Onlineprinters-CUP 2011 automatically qualifies for the FlexStrom-Cup 2012 (with Real Madrid) and will fly to Berlin", explains Bernd Kühn, cup director and CEO of SportConsulting GmbH.
Huge crowd expected to the event in the Westfalenhalle
"With the Onlineprinters-CUP 2011, great indoor football is finally coming back into the Ruhr region!" Football has a long-standing tradition here. The hearts of the fans are beating for their clubs", Kühn further. The traditional Westfalenhalle with capacity for 11,000 spectators has thus been the clear favourite for holding the Onlineprinters-CUP, although the cup's namesake, the e-commerce company Onlineprinters GmbH, is headquartered in North Bavaria. The audience in the Westfalenhalle will be enthusiastic about the tricks shown by football stars Oliver Neuville, Dariusz Wosz or Yildiray Bastürk and Co. The cup will be broadcasted live on the TV channel SPORT1 for 5.5 hours. "We see the Onlineprinters-CUP as a football festival for the entire family. Especially on Christmas, many families have the time to participate in an unforgettable event. The top-class football event offers thrilling entertainment from 01:00 p.m. to 06:30 p.m. at ticket prices below EUR 10, which is much more affordable than tickets for Bundesliga matches", Walter Meyer continues.
Onlineprinters-CUP raffles off 500 tickets
"We are deeply rooted in our Franconian home, even though the Onlineprinters-CUP is held in Dortmund. For each ticket sold, we are donating one Euro to the Christmas campaign "Freude für alle". The proceeds of the campaign will go to poor people in the Nuremberg region who are in need of special support", CEO Walter Meyer describes the campaign. The company employs more than 300 people in production and sales in the Middle Franconian town of Neustadt an der Aisch and markets printed products to online customers throughout Europe.
