NAV CANADA and CAW-Canada Reach New Agreement
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 11/18/11 -- The Honourable Lisa Raitt, Canada's Labour Minister, congratulated NAV CANADA and the National Automobile, Aerospace, Transportation and General Workers Union of Canada (CAW-Canada) CAW Local 1016 on successfully ratifying a new collective agreement.
"I applaud NAV CANADA and CAW-Canada for working closely together to reach a new agreement," said Minister Raitt. "Strong labour-management relations benefit the economic prosperity and security of Canadians."
Negotiated agreements are in the best interest of the organization, employees, businesses and the Canadian economy. CAW-Canada Local 1016 represents approximately 270 employees involved in training simulation and support to the operation of Canada's civil air navigation service.
