Annual Baby Diaper Drive Collects Emergency Funds and Receives a Challenge Match From Bank of Arizona
(firmenpresse) - PHOENIX, AZ -- (Marketwire) -- 11/18/11 -- Join Homeward Bound, Arizona's largest transitional housing provider serving homeless and domestic violence families, as they embark upon the to collect baby supplies and emergency baby funds for Homeward Bound families.
As many of our community members continue to struggle financially, it is more important than ever to rally around the cause of children and their well-being. Due to the cost of diapers and baby wipes and because they cannot be purchased with food stamps, many children are forced to go without. In addition, medication, hearing aids and other health-related needs of children are often unmet. Homeward Bound's Diaper Lady team of volunteers has set the goal of collecting (larger sizes 4, 5 and 6) and to fill the gaps and to ensure a bright, healthy future for babies and toddlers in need.
