TicketNetwork Advisory -- Cost of Roger Waters Tickets Ticks Upward in 2012
(firmenpresse) - SOUTH WINDSOR, CT -- (Marketwire) -- 11/18/11 -- When rocker Roger Waters returns to North America for the 2012 leg of his Wall Live Tour, he will perform in front of fans who paid about $50 more for this tour's tickets than they did in 2010, which was the last time Waters toured stateside. According to the latest data from the TicketNetwork Exchange*, the overall average price for 2012 is $222, compared to the overall selling price for 2010, which was $173.
The highest average price this time around is $321 for his performance at Fenway Park in Boston. In contrast, the highest price for the 2010 tour was $272 for his concert at The Forum in Los Angeles, CA. Even the lowest-priced tickets also cost more on average. For example, the average price for a concert at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, TX, is $188, compared to $116 for a concert in 2010 at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, NE.
Waters began in 2010 with an extensive North American leg followed by a European run during the first half of 2011. The new concerts will begin on May 1 in Houston, TX, and end on July 14 in Philadelphia, PA.
