Parsons Corporation Completes Acquisition of SPARTA, Inc., From Cobham Defense Systems, Inc.
Acquisition Deepens Parsons' Offerings to National Security Marketplace
(firmenpresse) - PASADENA, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/15/11 -- Parsons Corporation, a technology-driven engineering services firm, is pleased to announce that it has received all necessary U.S. government approvals and has completed its acquisition of SPARTA, Inc. (dba Cobham Analytic Solutions), and its subsidiaries, from Cobham Defense Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Cobham plc. On October 19, 2011, Parsons announced a definitive agreement to acquire SPARTA, a provider of advanced systems engineering, cybersecurity, and mission support services to U.S. government agencies.
Parsons also announced today that SPARTA will be integrated into Parsons Government Services. This business unit is a leading provider of mission-critical technical services to the U.S. government.
