American Nano Silicon Technologies Provides Status Updates on New Factory and Production Line
(firmenpresse) - NANCHONG, CHINA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/14/11 -- American Nano Silicon Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: ANNO) ("ANNO" or "the Company"), a leading manufacturer of consumer and industrial chemical products in China, provided today status updates in regards to its new facility and production line.
In May 2011, ANNO began moving to its new factory site located at Nanchong Shili Industrial Street, Economic and Technology Development Zone, Xiaolong Chunfei Industrial Park, which is approximately 12.4 miles from the Company's previous factory site. ANNO temporarily suspended production to facilitate the move, resulting in a decrease in sales in the third and fourth quarters of fiscal year 2011. The Company's management team is confident that ANNO's new facility and production line will be fully up and running by the end of November 2011, and accordingly, the Company will be in a better position to supply its unique products, like its accelerant and enforcement additive for cement based on ANNO's patented Micro Nano Silicon™ technology, to more customers throughout China.
Pu Fachun, Chief Executive Officer of ANNO, commented, "While we have been able to manufacture sample amounts of our products on the new line, we have not resumed full-scale production yet as we are still making sure that the line meets both our own rigorous quality control standards and our customers' requirements. We want our shareholders to know that we are not being constrained by any cash flow limitations nor problems securing orders for our products and that once our new plant is up and running, which we expect will increase our annual production capacity from 30,000 to 120,000 tons, we believe that we will be able to fulfill the demands of significantly more customers."
As the Company looks to incorporate its new flame retardant additive into its product offerings, ANNO is making a concerted effort to have its new line ready to accommodate what the Company considers a technologically and economically viable alternative to current flame retardant products.
