Popular Student Poker Event Returns With EUR20,000 Estimated Prize-Pool and Irish Open 2012 Entry for Winner

today launches details of the Student Masters 2012; the student-only poker tournament will once again feature a EUR100 + EUR10 buy in and will take place on Saturday 10th March 2012.

Following the phenomenal success at the sold out Student Masters 2011 tournament earlier this year, the 2012 event will move venue to the spacious Burlington Hotel, Dublin to accommodate more players.

The event features an estimated EUR20,000 in prize money, and will once again award the winner of the Student Masters a seat into the prestigious Irish Open 2012 worth EUR3,500.

"When I heard that paddypowerpoker.com was awarding the winner of the Student Masters a seat into the Irish Open, this tournament became a must-play for me. It was always a dream of mine to play in the Irish Open and I can tell you now it certainly did not disappoint." said Jamie Flynn, winner of the Student Masters 2011.

The Student Masters 2012 will commence on Saturday 10th March 2012, and play will stop once the final table is reached. The final nine players will then return to the Burlington Hotel on the eve of the Irish Open 2012 (Thursday 5th April 2012) to play out the final table and decide an overall winner.
