Media Advisory: Canadian Delegates to Accompany Governor General on State Visits to Malaysia, Vietnam and Singapore
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 11/08/11 -- On the occasion of his State visits to Malaysia, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Republic of Singapore, His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, will be joined by an accompanying delegation that will play an active role in highlighting Canada's involvement in Asia.
As Canadian representatives of the fields of education, innovation and trade promotion, and culture, the delegates will share their experiences and knowledge with their Malaysian, Vietnamese and Singaporean counterparts. These exchanges will provide greater visibility for our bilateral co-operation initiatives in various sectors, particularly in our strategies promoting economic development.

The State visit to Malaysia will take place from November 13 to 16. The State visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam will take place from November 16 to 19; and the State visit to the Republic of Singapore will take place from November 19 to 22, 2011.
