(OTCBB: LYFE), a technology leader in the development of next generation media services integrating TV, high-speed Internet and enhanced voice services, today announced that it has filed for provisional patents around its Real Time Adaptive Stream Switching technology.
This technology changes the traditional concept of the cable headend. Instead of operating expensive, dedicated backhaul video networks that connect the video source to the headend, the technology allows video to be delivered uninterrupted over private or public data networks, like the Internet. TV quality content can be sourced from any location, without the need to aggregate channels in a local headend.
