(firmenpresse) - ADDISON, IL -- (Marketwire) -- 11/04/11 -- Diversified metal component manufacturer JD Norman Industries, Inc. today announced that it has acquired the assets of Len Industries, Inc., a leading provider of precision machined components. Len Industries operates three plants in Leslie, Mich. and serves customers within the automotive and industrial markets. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

"Len Industries' product category of machined components will be added to our current product categories of stampings, fourslide components, coiled springs and value-added assemblies. The overlap of customers and industries served between JD Norman and Len Industries will allow for a successful integration of the two organizations."
JD Norman's business model entails four key aspects: engineering focus, product diversity, integrated business units and geographic reach. The company believes that the acquisition of Len Industries achieves each aspect of this business model and will allow for a greater offering to its customer base.
