The Mircom Group of Companies Acquires Murray Electronics Inc.
(firmenpresse) - VAUGHAN, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 11/03/11 -- The Mircom Group of Companies ("Mircom") is pleased to announce that it has acquired Murray Electronics Incorporated. ("Murray Electronics"), located in Ottawa, Ontario, effective August 31, 2011.
Established in 1976 and incorporated in 1984, Murray Electronics is a major distributor and service provider of fire alarms, nurse call, school intercom, Public Address (PA) & card access, Close Circuit Television (CCTV), electronic scoreboard, low voltage & lighting control, emergency lighting and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) products and systems. Its diverse customer base includes federal and provincial governments, the City of Ottawa, the RCMP, as well as a host of school boards, electrical contractors, fire alarm service companies, property managers, lighting control manufacturers and medical & detention institutions.
