Vanstar Announces New President, CEO and Director
(firmenpresse) - MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 11/02/11 -- Vanstar Mining Resources Inc. ("Vanstar") (TSX VENTURE: VSR) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Martin Tremblay as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation effective November 2, 2011. Mr. Tremblay has experience in financial management and operations; mergers and acquisitions, debt financings, initial public offerings, and restructuring/turnaround. Mr. Tremblay also has a wealth of experience and contacts in the capital markets, domestic and abroad. Mr. Maxime Lemieux was also appointed to the Board of Directors.
Mr. Tremblay will replace Guy Morissette who was acting as interim CEO and Mr. Lemieux will replace Mr. Daniel Kelly who submitted his resignation as Director yesterday. We wish to extend our thanks for Mr. Kelly's contribution to the board over the last years.
Mr. Guy Morissette will continue to serve as Chairman and to assist in monitoring exploration.
The Board of Directors granted 350,000 stock options to Mr. Tremblay and 250,000 stock options to Mr. Lemieux exercisable at a price of $0.11 for a period of 5 years.
