Proposed Maple Group Transactions: AMF To Maintain Public Consultation and Hearings
(firmenpresse) - MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 11/02/11 -- Further to the support agreement entered into between Maple Group Acquisition Corporation and TMX Group Inc. on October 30, 2011, the Autorite des marches financiers (the "AMF") will maintain the terms and conditions of the public consultation currently under way.
Interested parties must submit their written observations on the proposed transactions no later than Monday, November 7, 2011. Further information is available in the that is posted on the AMF website. The AMF also reminds interested parties that the public hearings related to the consultation will be held at the Palais des congres de Montreal on November 24 and 25, 2011. Persons wishing to make an oral presentation must request permission to do so at the time they file their brief.
The Autorite des marches financiers ("AMF") is the regulatory and oversight body for Quebec's financial industry.
