To ensure the efficient and secure exchange of sensitive mortgage documents and data, American Home Mortgage Servicing Inc. (AHMSI), a provider of services to homeowners and loan investors, has implemented ®.
With a multibillion dollar portfolio under management, AHMSI wanted to reduce costs and improve decision-making by streamlining communications with third party mortgage loan investors and consolidating relevant information and documentation for individual mortgages in a single, secure and easily accessible workspace.
Using Oracle WebCenter, AHMSI deployed a public-facing Web portal that incorporates secure workspaces. The workspaces provide authorized external users with immediate access to up-to-date loan information, call center data and other supporting content required to make informed decisions regarding loan modifications and mortgage investment approval.
The Oracle solution has not only reduced AHMSI's reliance on email and FTP sites for communicating with its business partners, it has automated much of the workflow around loan approvals and reduced the average time for the loan approval process from 30 days to one week.
To further enhance productivity and reduce time spent searching for information, AHMSI is using components of Oracle WebCenter as a secure central repository for daily, weekly and monthly business reports.
