California Fire Safe Council Presents Fire Prevention Regional Conference for Homeowners and Fire Safe Councils; Nov. 1 in Ontario
To Be Held at Ontario Airport Holiday Inn From 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
(firmenpresse) - ONTARIO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/28/11 -- The public is invited to attend a educational workshop on Wildfire Preparedness and Protection on Tuesday, November 1 at the Holiday Inn at Ontario Airport located at 2155 E. Convention Center Way. The workshop is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
San Bernardino County Supervisor Gary Ovitt will welcome attendees with a special key note address. The Farmers Mobile Claims Center Bus (MCC) will also be featured at the Conference. Attendees are invited to tour the MCC. It is 46' long and is equipped with state-of-the-art satellite communications equipment, seven claims stations, water, supplies, satellite laptop and telephone capability for use by all, and a built in grill to serve meals to those in need.

Michael Paiva, Director of Government Affairs for Farmers Insurance
Representatives from the CA Department of Insurance and the Institute for Business and Home Safety (IBHS) will also be attending
The program is presented by the California Fire Safe Council and Farmers Insurance. All Fire Safe Council members, homeowners, business owners, renters and media are invited.
Strategies for Successful Fire Safe Council Fundraising will conclude the program.
