Bollywood Starlet, Payal Rohatgi, to Compete in 'Survivor India - Ultimate Battle'

Unlike the American version, Survivor India has created a diverse cast of ordinary individuals and top Indian celebrities to compete in an all-out battle of wits and endurance for the title of the sole survivor.
Payal Rohatgi brings her beauty, brains and brawn to the cast, as the Bollywood idol learns to catch her own food, build her own shelter and do whatever it takes to survive. Rohatgi was reluctant to accept the offer initially, due to the show's reputation of arduous challenges, backstabbing and drama; however, Rohatgi plans to use her integrity and instinct to propel her team.
Payal, a computer engineer by profession, decided to try her acting in Bollywood after she was noticed in an Indian Beauty Pageant. Rohatgi then moved to Bombay and began her career as a model for popular brands such as: Amul, Nirma, and Nescafé. Her beauty and immediate success captured the eye of talent agents, launching her illustrious movie career. In 2006, she landed her major breakthrough role in the film 36 China Town. She has also starred in Apna Sapna Money Money, Corporate, Fun - Can Be Dangerous Sometimes, Men Not Allowed, and Dil Kabaddi.
"Survivor" is a reality television game show that enjoys popularity in several countries across the world. The US version premiered 11 years ago, where it has completed 21 seasons, and has been successfully produced in over 48 countries worldwide.
