Leading Auto Insurance Carrier Receives Top Honors From PIANH at Annual Awards Luncheon

The survey, which is administered annually, gives independent agents the opportunity to share opinions on insurance carriers' performance in a variety of categories. As a result of its high performance, the company was recognized with the 2011 Award of Overall Excellence, the top honor presented by PIANH, at a luncheon hosted in Concord on October 4.
In addition to receiving the highest score amongst the 37 companies reviewed, Mt. Washington ranked best in four of the top ten performance categories including prompt payment, clear communication, responsiveness to agents and flexibility when warranted. Mt. Washington was also acknowledged for its competitive compensation, real-time transaction capabilities and dedication to the agency system. Additionally, Mt. Washington scored almost a point or more higher than the group in five categories despite PIANH identifying a decline in agent satisfaction in these areas with most carriers since last year's survey.
