Media Advisory/Photo Opportunity: Public Service Professionals from the Atlantic Region to Demonstrate in Halifax Today
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 10/21/11 -- Several hundred public service employees from across all Canadian government departments and agencies in Atlantic Canada and represented by the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada (PIPSC) will congregate and rally in Halifax today to denounce massive cuts to the public service, and to call upon the Harper government to preserve a strong service base in the region to serve the Public Good.
When: Friday October 21, 2011 from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (AT)
Where: The rally starts at the Halifax Delta Hotel (1875 Barrington St), then south on Barrington, east on Duke and south on Hollis to conclude with presentations in front of the Ralston Building (1557 Hollis Street)
